Gullmarens Judo, Lysekil

Hi and welcome to the website for Gullmarens Judo. We are a young (founded 2006) judo club from "the pearl of swedish west coast" namely the city of Lysekil.

Our club's main goal is to teach young as well as old the great martial art of Judo. The Judo we teach is focused on the modern competition Judo but without loosing the fun in it. At our traning sessions all are welcome, boys and girls, young or old it doesn't matter who you are! At the tournaments we have attended the results have been very satisfactory. 1st of May, we visited our neighbours in Norway and the Sandefjord Cup. Our younger judokas won 19 of 26 matches giving 5 golds and medals for all 9 contestants!!!

Since we don't have our own dojo (yet), we use "lilla kronbergshallen" for our training sessions. Normally we train from beginning of September to end of May. Monday and Wednesday is training nights, two sessions, first one for our younger kids and the second for our teenagers and adults.

In case you are in the neighbourhood, you are always welcome to join us and train together! Mondays & wednesdays 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM
